TRUCK DRIVER

New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works Inc is Maryland’s premier architectural woodworking company located in the Frederick Area. We manufacture and install custom woodworking in the Baltimore/Washington/ VA area. New Era is looking for hardworking and dependable individuals to drive our 26’ box trucks. Drivers must have a clean driving record for local deliveries. Knowledge of the Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Virginia area is required. We offer top pay and benefits.

Immediate Opportunities: Full time Local deliveries
DOT Card is required

If no deliveries are the next day, drivers are able to assist around the shop and clean/maintain trucks as required.

Delivery Duties:

• Help load and unload custom millwork and furniture
• Clean up truck cab daily
• Make sure truck is ready to go for next day deliveries; fuel tank filled, back of truck clean of all debris, straps/tie downs are present, furniture pads are stacked
• Must be able to lift and move large heavy furniture
• Local deliveries within 100 miles from our headquarters
• Delivering to mostly construction sites
• Trucks have tail gate lift
• Most deliveries have start time at 5:00am though 1:00pm though overtime is encouraged. Some deliveries require truck to leave at 4:00 and earlier.
