Due to growth and expansion, we have an exciting NEW opportunity available!  The Director, Global Planning and Analytics for Elkay Interior Systems, North America is accountable for the design, execution and effectiveness of the Global Demand, Supply, Transportation and Production planning process, as well as regional to global S&OP.  The Director, Global Planning and Analytics will support all Elkay Interior Systems (EIS) regions and business areas and is responsible for the necessary metrics, reports and processes.  Will also maintain close relationships with customer facing functions to best anticipate, sense and/or shape demand. Manage a team of Demand, Supply, and S&OP managers and their direct reports.

Specific duties include:

  • Develop, deploy and operate the Business unit S&OP process aligning business objectives, sales forecasts and customer orders with all areas of our business.
  • Develop and deploy forecasting models that consider both repeatable and custom order demand.
  • Plan production requirements across internal manufacturing and external supplier capabilities. 
  • Link customer demand with transportation planning / optimization.
  • Create and manage supply chain optimization process, defining best / lowest cost options and insure reliability of supply.
  • Provide ongoing development and operations of supply chain analytics covering inventory, sales, cost, manufacturing and freight management subject areas.
  • Develop and oversee the Production Plan to match customer demand.
  • Minimize risk of exposure to excess Finished Goods inventory to include monitoring and reporting on inventory expiration dates.
  • Manage and control material inventory including controlling excess, insufficient, or deficient materials, which may require working with customer, Engineering, Quality, Program Managers, Finance, suppliers, or other external vendors.
  • Meet deadlines to avoid material shortages and delays on assigned task from management.
  • Ensure that material requirements are available to support production schedules by working closely with production planning, buyers, and engineering to ensure that the needed material is on time and meets necessary requirements.
  • Oversee business and supply chain planning for NPI launches, customer expansion, EOP and transition planning, financial opportunity and risk mitigation planning, inventory management strategy, and optimization of planning processes.
  • Manage and oversee multi-node global planning with multiple manufacturers and parallel product manufacturing planning strategies.
  • Conduct cross-functional collaboration with Logistics, Demand Forecasting, FP&A cash forecasting, Global Sourcing, Operations Manufacturing, and Product Development.
  • Oversee Finished Good Inventory Days on Hand, channel inventory projections, and cash conversion cycles inputs.


  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related area of study is required. Graduate level experience is a plus.
  • Industry recognized supply chain certifications (CPIM, Six Sigma Etc.) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Planning (Forecasting, Supply planning, Supply Chain Optimization, Transportation or production planning) is required.
  • 5+ years previous leadership and direct management experience essential.  Serve as supportive leader, demonstrating empathy, and helping team to develop and grow their skills and capabilities.
  • Experience in material and inventory management a must.
  • Experience in managing multi-level forecasting required.
  • Experience in developing and executing transportation optimization solutions / options required.
  • Experience with large / complex SKU counts a must.
  • Experience with advanced planning tools and methodologies essential.
  • Specific experience in Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR), Hospitality or Furniture industry preferred.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time required, with extended trips to Mexico, Vietnam, China, and South East Asia.
